Shed Antler Harvest

All male animals in the Deer Family naturally cast-off or shed their antlers each year. This usually occurs in late winter or early spring. New antlers begin growing in early summer and are “hard horned” and rubbed free of their velvet-like covering by Autumn.

Brad Ham has developed close friends around the world who collect these antlers and ship them to his St. Hubert Studios in Colorado.
